The lazy way to make a quick quilt.  Buy a plain white quilt.  I bought one at TJ  Max and then embellish with your favorite fabrics.  I just love the French Rose pattern and use it on placemats, denim shirts and of course this cute white lap quilt.

Decided to bring out my box of many colors and start to do some embroidery, but I don't want it to be like

my grandma's even though I am a grandma myself.  I am having fun drawing up my own designs and then

being able to select colors that work well in my home.

I just love to read blogs and learn so much from others.  I know that I also have lots to offer, but I am not sure where to start.
